Thanksgiving!

Ah, Thanksgiving. The time of year when we count our blessings, gather with family, and gorge ourselves full of delicious food. What a beautiful time of year.

So, since this is a time for giving thanks, lets make a list of all that we're grateful for:

Family
The Atonement
Friends
Church
Our Homes
Education
Our Church Leaders
Music
Birthdays
Thanksgiving Dinner :)

That's far from a comprehensive list, but, hey, it's a start.

What are you thankful for?

Love you all,
Kristen

The Sound of Music

Musical Theater: Something so prevalent in our home, you can't go a day without hearing about it.

As mentioned in the last post, Lauren, Brigitta, and I are all in the Sound of Music, an amazing play that we all absolutely loooove. So, if you want to buy tickets (of course you do!), contact Mom (Laurie) and she will get you some. The performance dates are October 22, 23, 25, 28, 29, and 30. The shows are at 7:30, BUT there are two matinées on the 23 and 30th, should you wish to attend at 2pm instead. The tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for Students and Seniors. If you come the 25th, you only pay $10! I think it would be a great family home evening activity, so you should come. ;)

Love ya all,
Kristen

Hey Everybody!

Hello Everybody!
Sorry I haven't been doing well on keeping the blog updated. BUT I have decided to work harder on doing that. :)
Right now, Lauren, Brigitta and myself are all in The Sound of Music. I'm a nun, Lauren is in the ensemble, and Brigitta is doing Shooting Stars.

All of us girls, except Maria, started school just over a month ago. School has been pretty good to all of us so far. I started my Sophomore year of High School, and it has been going wonderfully. My favorite classes so far are Seminary (no duh) and Chamber Choir. We actually have a baritone section this year! 0_0

ANYWAYS, life is pretty good so far. I'm reading the Doctrine and Covenants (since we're studying it in Seminary), and the Book of Mormon, as always :).

Luv ya all!
Signing out for now,
Kristen
